Step 5.1: If You Choose "IMPROVE NOW" (image 3)

Method: Intent-Driven Category Description

Purpose: The primary goal of product categorization is to narrow down the product list based on user intent (User's intent → Category → Products)

Process: This method uses user intent to generate or improve category descriptions by analyzing user questions or search queries to understand the underlying intent

Example: If many users search for "comfortable running shoes," the "Running Shoes" category description could be updated to emphasize comfort features

Implementation Steps:

  1. Fill in all required information (image 4)
  2. Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the page

Step 5.2: If You Choose "Other Method" (image 3)

Method: Core Category Blueprint

Purpose: Leverage website information and standard e-commerce categories to create a basic category structure

Process: Define hierarchy and provide initial, generic descriptions for each category based on product types

Example: For a clothing website, create categories like "Men's Apparel," "Women's Apparel," "Kids' Apparel," with subcategories like "T-shirts," "Pants," "Dresses," etc.
