Facebook Page Access Explanation

- The business integration will be able to continue accessing the information you've shared with it. For example, if you use a business integration to manage your Pages, it is able to access posts so it's up to date when you log in.
- You can review or change the information you share with business integrations and what you allow them to manage in your Business Integrations settings. These settings are different from audience selector settings that control who can see your content on Facebook.
- Business integrations may request access to the information you've shared from Facebook. These requests are automatically logged by our systems and are not controlled by your device settings.
Why Permissions Are Required
Granting access permissions is a mandatory crucial step for MAIKA to perform Facebook management tasks for your business. Without these permissions, we cannot:
- Automatically handle customer messages on Messenger
- Optimize Facebook page settings
- Perform administrative business tasks as requested
- Synchronize data between our system and your pages
- These permissions are prerequisites for our service to function properly.
Granting Permission Process
Granting process for the MAIKA follows these steps:
- Authentication login with your Facebook account
- Page selection for MAIKA to manage
- Business selection for MAIKA to access
- Confirmation of specific permissions for the application
Granted Permissions
MAIKA will has the following permissions:
- Manage your business
- Manage and access Page conversations in Messenger
- Manage account, settings, and webhooks for Pages
- Display list of Pages you manage
How It Works
- Continuous access: MAIKA needs to maintain continuous access to respond to customer messages promptly and manage your page effectively
- Access logging: Meta automatically records when MAIKA accesses your information to ensure transparency
- Security assurance: We only use this access to perform agreed functions, not collecting or using data for other purposes
Permission Management Options
You have two options for granting permissions to Maika:
Allow all current and future Pages (Recommended)
- Grants permissions for all existing Pages and new Pages you'll create later
- Ensures continuous and uninterrupted service operation
Only allow current Pages
- Only grants permissions for specifically selected Pages
- Requires reconfiguration if you create new Pages
Adjusting Permissions
You can enable/disable access permissions for each Page in the list below at any time
Important Note
Revoking access permissions will prevent our service from functioning normally. If you disable permissions, page management features and customer interaction capabilities will be disrupted.
